Stream Video From PC To TV
Most of us are TV fanatics that if we have free time, we’ll find ourselves in front of the television. And I’m one of those so called “TV addicts”. I’m very interested in all the software and hardware that appear in the market that offer great access to more channels. I search the Internet. I was amazed that many people are also searching on how to enjoy their TV watching to the highest level.
While browsing Net, there are various topics about having TV on your PC and watching TV online. Are these not interesting topics to read about? Actually, these are pretty much interesting topics. Why? Well, you don’t need to call companies that offer cable or satellite TV to have a wide range of channels. Such topics are helpful for it give you more information on how you can stream video from PC to TV. While learning the information related to such topic, all you need is a PCTV tuner and fast internet connection.
Suddenly, it crosses my mind that I want to watch those videos not on my PC but on our TV. So how I’m going to do it? I search on “streaming videos from PC to TV”. My first impression is that it will not be as easy as I thought it would be. I continue researching more, reading forums and such. Also, another option is the U-Broadcast. I searched for it and found that it is a product of Uticasoft. It is a webcam viewer, TV tuner viewer, video capturer and live- stream server.
There are many choices that came my way. And it’s really hard to decide. I also read the comments of other people about certain software or hardware to be able to stream videos in the most convenient way. Some successfully got what they want but then a flaw will be encountered. Then they will try other ways to stream videos. It consumes time and effort and money as well but it’s worth it in the end.
As I continue my search, I’ll find more methods, specific ones that I can share with other TV addicts out there. I will ask for other people’s advices on this matter. I will continue reading forums and blogs that will help me to have what I want. It’s not only the thought of me able to stream videos but knowing how it’s done and me able to share it, gives others the chance to also enjoy the benefits of video streaming. Some people don’t have enough time like me to search the internet just to get information.
So I’ll pick one and I will try it. If it works, I will tell you as soon as possible. If I failed, I will still write about it but ask other people what maybe went wrong. Then I will try another one. I know that companies are dealing with this demand intensely so I’m not alone. Maybe tomorrow or the next day, video streaming will be as easy as no one as of this moment expect it to be. Then, my first impression will not last anymore.
MP3 Players - they’re so cool
Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the last few years, you’ll know that the most popular mp3 player in the world by far is Apple’s iPod. It comes in all sorts of editions, including the Mini, the Nano, and the Shuffle &ndash and every single one is a best-seller.
What you might not have realised, though, is that Apple isn’t at all the only game in town when it comes to mp3 players. In fact, they’re quite a recent entrant into the market. Companies like iRiver and Creative have been around a lot longer, and their players are usually worth considering too, as they can often be cheaper than the equivalent iPod or have more features.
When you’re comparing the prices of mp3 players, the one feature you should look at more than any other is capacity. Don’t lose sight of the fact that a 40GB mp3 player can store twice as much as a 20GB one.
However, there other features to look for. Even though everyone calls them mp3 players, mp3s are not the only format you might want your player to be able to play &ndash if you want to use it with Microsoft’s Media Player, for example, you’ll need a player that is also capable of playing wma (Windows Media Audio) format files. If you want to buy music from the iTunes Music Store, you need a player that can play aac (Apple) format files.
Another issue is battery life. Almost all mp3 players are now powered by mains chargers rather than by changing the battery, but battery life varies wildly, from as little as 2 hours up to as high as 10. Make sure you don’t get saddled with a player that won’t work for a long time if you want to use it for extended periods away from a power outlet.
Of course, the most important feature to many people will always be how their mp3 player looks when they’re using and wearing it. There’s nothing wrong with that, of course, but don’t be fooled into buying a turkey just because it has a pretty design
The Jetsons (DVD) Review
If the Flintstones are the modern stone-age family, then the Jetsons are the quintessential post-modern futuristic family, complete with flying cars. Following the massive commercial success of the animated classic The Flintstones (1960), Hanna-Barbera followed with additional prime-time cartoon series Top Cat (1961) and The Jetsons (1962). Cancelled after one season on ABC, The Jetsons lived on through the success of syndicated reruns on Saturday morning cartoons, through TV movies and specials, comic books, games, and toys. Its enduring success prompted Hanna-Barbera to revive the series from 1985 to 1988, using many of the same animation techniques and characters as found in the original…
The Jetsons follows the lives of George Jetson and his average middle-class family. George is a bumbling, yet kind-hearted family man who works for Spacely Sprockets, a sprocket manufacturing concern owned and run by the slave-driving dwarf Mr. Spacely. George’s wife Jane is a homemaker who dials up breakfast for the family and pushes all the proper buttons necessary for cleaning the house and taking care of the domestic affairs. Son Elroy is a boy genius, and daughter Judy is a typical teenage rock-and-roller. Throw in a sarcastic robot maid named Rosie and a talking dog named Astro, and The Jetsons has all the elements of a modern TV classic. With flying cars, stilted high-rise houses, and automated gadgets for almost every conceivable form of work, the show matches The Flintstones pound-for-pound in respect to the artist/producers’ breadth of creativity and imagination…
The Jetsons DVD features a number of hilarious episodes including the series premiere “Rosie the Robot” in which Jane urges George to buy a robot maid, but George feels they can’t afford it. And with his boss, Mr. Spacely, due to come over for dinner, George doesn’t think he can get raise out of Mr. Spacely if he sees a robot maid at the Jetson home. Meanwhile, Jane has taken a free one-day trial of an older-model ‘Rosie’ who makes Spacely the best dinner he’s ever had, but not before he fires George, prompting Rosie to runaway from home. When the Jetson family finally tracks Rosie down, she decides to stay with the family permanently… Other notable episodes from Season 1 include “Rosie’s Boyfriend” in which Rosie falls in love with the building super’s rag-tag robot assistant, and “Miss Solar System” in which Jane enters the Miss Solar System pageant against George’s wishes, not knowing that George is one of the secret judges…

But there is one way out that can easily and smartly solve this dilemma. There is a break through in Internet software front that will let you to convert your versatile PC into a super power Entertainment System.
This software will allow you to watch thousands (over Three Thousands to be precise) of Channels from all over the world. And it is not like your Cable or any other kind of TV network where you pay fat monthly fees to keep the show going.
All you need is an internet connection and the software and you are ready to rock. No extra hardware is needed so there will be no expenditure on that front and no messing inside your PC cabinet either.
The most interesting fact about this software is, it is fairly inexpensive &ndasharound $49 (one time). Compared to the monthly fees –around $20– that one pays for a hundred channel package it’s a heck of a deal.
And as you are using Internet to watch TV shows you can access your favorite programs no matter in what part of this vast world you currently are. It can be your home, your office or in some island of Far East &ndashyour location hardly matters as long as you can lay your hands on a net connection.
Lastly few tips on selection of right software: As you can expect there are number of flavors of software of this category are available in market. Be careful and don’t buy the first software pack you come across.

iPod Movies - A Cinema In Your Hands
Did you ever see that movie with Sir Anthony Hopkins when he was a primatologist and he was doing work out in the jungle when he befriended a group of silverbacks? Well, what happens is that these bastard gorilla poachers come by and attack the group. What do you know but, the gorillas and Hopkins(!) fight back and kill a couple of the poachers. He goes to an insane asylum and the great silverback goes to the zoo. Mind you, this thing was fierce and desired freedom more than any star and stripe waving, apple pie eating red-stater could even fathom. But, once he’s in the zoo for so long, when they finally open his cage, he’s too broken to attempt to walk out. Well, that’s like me. Blinking is sometimes too much effort.
But, just today I ran across something that has put the glimmer back in my eye. If you like movies and you ave an ipod photo, then let’s talk. Ipod movies are now within the reach of us serfs and peasants, albeit with a little work. Because, the fact of the matter is, ipod movies are not in the realm of ipod photo, no, basically it’s for photos. But some tenacity and a desire to watch oddly paced, effort draining clips and you’ve got yourself a movie night.
You’ll need to get yourself set up with quicktime pro, itunes and your ipod, of course. Now you’re going to take your movie, I would probably start with something short, like those clips you download from the internet. Get it in your computer and export the clip. Put the sound in your itunes, and then (here’s the great part) put all the thousands of individual frames in your ipod photo. Now you get the volume rolling and use the click wheel to scroll through all the frames…and you are watching ipod movies my friend. Technology is beautiful, take advantage, man, take advantage.
